“These are decent properties for a budget stay on Mackinac Island, but they are definitely in need of maintenance. From the front they look fine, but go out on the back deck/balcony and you start to see how properly maintaining and island property is rather difficult. As far as staff goes, if you can reach them on the phone, they're helpful. Otherwise we only interacted with the luggage porters and for a decent tip they delivered our luggage to our condo. “For a motel, it’s classy! Normally, I’d never stay at a motel, but my wife wanted the beautiful view of the bridge, which is gorgeous. Everything is nearby including the original mackinaw city light house one door over. I like the shower, mini fridge, Kuerig coffee, comfortable beds (cute pillows). Walls are the 80’s fake-wood style (dated) but in good condition. We got a great deal and I’d be happy to return to THIS motel.
