“We stayed here recently for a family wedding, and we were very pleased with our stay. The beds were super comfortable, the rooms were nice and cool and Chef Arnie was very inviting. It isn’t like a traditional hotel where there is someone at the desk 24/7, so if you’re a person who requires that kind of attentiveness, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. “We have stayed at this hotel every year for the last 4 years, the maintenance on the hotel has not been kept up, room door sticking does not close well, lights in room not working, and stuffy smell throughout the first floor. There was several dehumidifiers running. The breakfast was exactly the same for 3 days in a row. The staff were outstanding, they work very hard to make a pleasant stay for what they are given to work with. The owner needs to listen to staff and upgrade the facility”

“Arrived about 2:30 PM, asked to checked in. Was told no one checks in before 3:00PM. I have been staying in motels for over 60 years and have never been told I had to wait to check in unless the place was full. There were only 4 or 5 cars parked in the parking area. Sunday morning went for breakfast around 8:30 they had run out of waffle batter and did not attempt to refill the container. I was basely disappointed in my stay and doubt if I will try another BW.”

“Staff was great . The ac in the room was off so it was way too hot when I first arrived. Took about 5 hours to cool it off enough you was sweating . The doors and floors were damaged just needs fixed . The pool isn’t working so they should post that . The side of the toilet was molded. And the overflow drain in the tub was hanging half off . I’m glade my stay was just 12 hrs bc I didn’t wanna be there no longer .”

We were visiting family, so we didn't visit the restaurant or bar at all, but I've heard it's good though. The staff were all friendly and helpful and gave out free, warm, walnut chocolate chip cookies whenever asked for. They have an "Incidentals" hold of $50 in case you want something from the lobby or elsewhere in the hotel. The selection was ok for convenient things to purchase in the lobby. The……
