Car Rental BTDC

When you've checked out all of the amazing sights in BTDC, there's more to explore in the region. Collect the keys to a rental car, toss your bags in the trunk and hit the open road. Here are some drives we're confident you'll love:

• Make tracks to Mataram for an excellent sightseeing experience. Around 60 miles from BTDC, it has lots of amazing attractions, including Lombok Epicentrum Mall.
• Your next pit stop? Consider Banjar, which is around 45 miles away. Banjar Hot Springs is one local highlight you really shouldn't miss.
• Venture into the great outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at Mount Bromo. It's approximately 170 miles from BTDC.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Indonesia, then you may need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. Please also consider that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. Some added requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You must be at least 25 in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before you drive away. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or go off-roading with your rental car.
