Nestled into a beautiful setting overlooking the forest, you will find our rustic guest cottage perfect for your Carmel getaway. Moonglow is a unique oasis for those that enjoy the tranquility of the forest, yet want to be minutes away from Carmel’s beautiful white sand beach and many artistic shops and restaurants.

A gorgeous deck surrounds Moonglow with plenty of seating, a barbecue for outdoor enjoyment and a heater for cool evenings. The patio has a table and 2 chairs for outdoor dining. The private hot tub under the stars beckons😒

For the active traveler Moonglow offers equipment for hiking, biking, tennis, golf and the beach. Walk or bike to unspoiled Hatton Canyon.

The beautiful bedroom has a double bed with a great mattress. The sleeper sofa is a queen. If you need a larger bed, Moonglow may not be the best choice for you.

Moonglow has a private bathroom with lovely tile shower, kitchenette and living room with a welcoming corner fireplace. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room (converts to a queen bed) plus a bistro table with 2 chairs, a dresser with drawers, and a rocking chair.

The HDTV streams Netflix and other Apps seamlessly via the fast Comcast Wi-Fi.

Moonglow is smoke free. No pets, please.

Absolutely fantastic place!! It was warm , cozy , well equipped and the location was great ! Would definitely recommend Moon glow and stay here again . The hosts were amazing, welcoming and made sure our stay was on point ! May 1-5 2024.

Quiet Getaway
This serene cottage was exactly what we needed. The bed was impressively comfortable and allowed us to get full night's of sleep, which is not the norm. The location could not have been better, central to everything but nestled away to provide the quiet we desired. The patio itself was a little oasis away from the hustle of daily life. And Chuck and Diane were absolutely wonderful, welcoming hosts.

Nice getaway
The space was nicely decorated. A lot of thought, care and creativity went into decorating the home. We went to the aquarium and some nice restaurants. Everything was so close. The house sits up on a hill with lush surroundings and treetop views. It was easy to stay in because there are lots of windows .It felt like we were staying in a treehouse.

A great setting and very cozy
It was private and wooded with a lovely porch. It was very cozy as well. So convenient to Carmel, Monterey, Point Lobos as well as many restaurants. I want to give special thanks to the owners of the property as they were an amazing help in resolving a small problem my friend and I were having.( NOT with the property). Absolutely Amazing
Our stay at Moonglow was phenomenal. The location is absolutely perfect, tucked under spreading oaks at the edge of a peaceful canyon, but still just minutes from downtown Carmel. The unit was cozy but with enough room for us to spread out, both inside and outdoors. We made good use of the hot tub (very warm) as well as the heated patio right outside the unit, and the kitchen was very well-equipped. Chuck and Diane were the perfect hosts and made sure our stay was everything it possibly could be. We've already made arrangements to return next year. In a word: idyllic.

The owners were great very accommodating. The property was fantastic. Super quiet. My wife loved the hot tub. It is very convenient to downtown Carmel. Oh yes, the have an owl in residence we could hear at night. Definitely stay here!

Feeling the glow from Moonglow
Just what we needed! It was super quiet and relaxing with a beautiful patio to sip our morning coffee. It's not in downtown Carmel, but we liked that for the tranquility of it - and it's only a 5 min drive across the street! Plus you get so much more space than a traditional hotel room. Chuck and Diane were super sweet and wrote us a very lovely note wishing me a happy birthday (we were celebrating my 40th). The hot tub was a nice feature for the cooler nights and it was helpful to have the little kitchenette available. Just note that the cottage is attached to the larger property above, so you can hear a few footsteps overhead from time to time. Overall I definitely recommend booking Moonglow!

Charming Retreat
Moonglow cottage was a charming oasis for our anniversary trip to Carmel. We were greeted warmly by Diane upon our arrival and the cottage was immaculate inside and out. The kitchenette was well-appointed with a small fridge, cooktop, and coffee maker, which made it easy to have a light breakfast before heading out for the day. Special touches like stained glass windows and hand painted cabinetry added to the magic. The spacious and private deck with an outdoor heater was much appreciated too.

Perfect little getaway
This little cottage was wonderful. So clean. Very well stocked. The bed was comfortable. The shower was awesome. Plenty of hot water. Close to the beach and some trails. The jacuzzi was great.... although if you cannot climb steep stairs it probably wouldn't work for you but if you can its a treat. We really enjoyed our stay!!
