For transportation a bit far from main island but Ferry 3 go straight to Ple Roma in 15mins while Ferry 4.1/4.2 takes 1 hour from San Marco. And 4.2 runs from morning from midnight about 22:00 so no need to worry about transportation too much."

"The hotel is close to the Mestre station, about a 5-10 min walk. There is a side entrance to platform 1 directly, you don’t need to go through the main entrance of the station, which is a bit further away. There are a few hotels and restaurants nearby. Feel safe in the area at night. The staff were super friendly, and we felt welcomed. We were having a birthday trip in Italy. The hotel was very generous, our room got upgraded and we received a bottle of wine as a gift. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The hotel is very close to the train station, it could be bothersome for people that are very sensitive to noise. Not a problem for me though. Also, you don’t get free daily housekeeping like a traditional hotel. But at this price, you really can’t ask for more. Hotel tax is very cheap, so is the price of the room. I would 100% recommend this hotel. "

"I booked the Suite Gran Canal on Expedia for nearly $680 per night, specifically for the beautiful balcony and large windows. When I first entered the room, I felt like something was missing, but since I was busy during my trip, I didn’t check the booking photos. Yesterday, when I reviewed my reservation, I realized that the room description on Expedia showed a stunning balcony that you could step out onto. However, the actual room I was given had no accessible balcony at all. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated. I don’t know what went wrong, but I feel deceived. If you’re considering booking the Suite Gran Canal, be aware that the room might look completely different from what’s shown online."
