We were there in the winter when the lake was frozen so can't say what it's like in the summer. Would definitely rent the house again. The fireplace was so delightful! "House is cute and well appointed. The access area and getting the keys was full of cobwebs as was the rooms in the property. The access to the lake is down the fairly steep drive to a busy road that circumnavigate the lake which you cross and climb over the metal street barrier in order to get to the lake And dock area. We found it to be challenging and less than safe. The listing states a walk to the restaurant, but there is no walkway/sidewalk and I would highly recommend not walking on this road to get to the restaurant. When we arrived, there was a smell as if an animal died in the walls.IYKYK the screen doors for front and back doors were a design I have never seen before, but requires some getting used to. Why not just have a regular screen door? We did not stay for our whole booking due to the smell."
