We had a fantastic five‑night stay at this hotel while exploring Québec City and the surrounding area. The location is excellent, just a five‑minute walk to the river port and about fifteen minutes uphill to the old centre, making it incredibly easy to get around.
The interior design is modern, stylish, and full of character. We especially enjoyed the central hall, which overlooks the bar area and the illuminated displays of local archaeological discoveries, a unique and memorable touch.
Our Comfort Room, 1 King Bed, was lovely and well equipped. The only drawback was a constant hum from an exterior ventilation unit, noticeable at night but not enough to affect sleep.
Breakfast was outstanding. The fresh, local products and the overall quality made it one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. Service throughout the hotel was attentive, friendly, and consistently excellent.
Overall, the hotel truly enhanced our visit to Québec City. We highly recommend it.
A small note: despite the high room rate, daily tipping was expected. This seems to be customary in many North American places, but for a 4‑star+ property, it feels unnecessary; the hotel can clearly afford to compensate its staff properly.
