La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Cincinnati North

2/10 Terrible

"This was like the Bollywood knock off versions of a La Quinta Inn. I had no idea that Wyndham had bought La Quinta. I should’ve known if it’s a Wyndham property it will be rundown, half fixed, dirty, and gross. They were supposedly doing renovations, but the renovations that I saw were like handyman going wrong. Where should I start? The elevator wasn’t working, the first trim we get into smell like cigarette smoke, they got us a new room, but it was on the third floor, which was annoying because of having to take the stairs every time. We got into our room and part of the carpet was coming up, there were holes in the wall everywhere that were hilariously patched, and then painted over. There was poop on the wall in the bathroom. Again, they tried to renovate, but it was more like just painting over everything including poop. The property should be condemned. One of the doors to the outside was literally rusted at the bottom 3 inches up and you could see to the outside."

"All of the staff was personable and focused on your comfort. It was also extremely safe. No entrance after 11pm without a room key. No use of elevator without a room key during all hours. Parking lot inspections were performed regularly. The area seemed very safe, but all the extra precautions were excellent for a solo traveler."
