“The resort was a good stay but when it rained the room leaked all over our bed. We requested a refund for the night of misery and they told us it would take a day. Its been 10 days and still nothing.”

“Stopped by this resort in 2007 to walk the Falls Trail, had to comeback & stay. Spent 2 nights for a group of 7 in JULY 2026. We had a Deluxe King Room & the Monarch Lago Villa which has 3 bedrooms. Everyone loved everything. The charm of the property is amazing. Aside from the animal exhibits and trails, we participated in trout fishing, butterfly experience & watching the feeding of the big cats. All those activites are included for overnight guest. “We really enjoyed our stay at La Selva. Loved the guided tour that is included and also did a bird tour on the property which was great. Both guides were very knowledgeable and we had a great time on both tours. Multiple trails on the property to explore on our own. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are rustic and basic but we knew that when we booked it so no problem. Dining is cafeteria style which was fine because we were not there for the food but for the nature and the……
