“Staff was nice, and hotel was quiet and clean, but our room had a musty smell. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but I think I misunderstood what "breakfast on the go" meant.”

“Laura at front desk was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding with very many options of food to eat. Stayed there for nine nights and would stay there again. Waterfront grill across the street is excellent. Right on the Erie canal. Tom & Carole Blaney. Raleigh. North Carolina.”

“I loved the downstairs and the restaurant. I felt the rooms could use better comforters and decoration. It wouldn’t take much to upgrade them aesthetically. The music stage in front of the lake was not pleasant to look at, but it probably helps their business model.”

“Exceptional continental breakfast consisting of egg quiche, bakery bread/toast, exceptional coffee from a local source, in house baked muffins etc. The people who stay here are usually well educated and have achieved successful careers and conversational so the social atmosphere was delightful to us. The building is very attractive and in an outstanding area. Very recommendable overall!!”

“Stayed here for a baseball tournament. We came to play baseball, not stay in a fancy hotel. The Countryside Inn was exactly what we needed. Clean room. Helpful staff. Priced perfectly for what we wanted. It's close to the highway, close to town, nice mountain view. Perfectly happy with our choice and will stay here again. Thank you and see you next year!”
