The scenic Withlacoochee River Pet-friendly Bird House

Rent this 1 Bedroom 1 Bath Dunnellon Seasonal Waterfront Rental in Tranquil Old Florida. The Birdhouse is located in Dunnellon Florida on the scenic Withlacoochee River. The entire house is a 720 sq foot open space, newly renovated interior with a queen-sized bed in the bedroom, a huge porch with screen to keep the bugs out, completely renovated kitchen with microwave and all the little amenities, smartTV in the living room area; fully air-conditioned WiFi and nest doorbell.
From the dock you can see the confluence of the Rainbow and Withlacoochee Rivers. The Dunnellon Birdhouse location is 15 minutes from Ocala Fl and Crystal River Fl. There's loadz of free space at the back for boat parking.

The Birdhouse is ideal for fishing or boating because you will have quick access to the Rainbow River, Withlacoochee River and Lake Rousseau without launching your boat. Fishing from the private dock has proven effective for guests with nice catches of Bass and Catfish. Remember Relaxing in the hammock is always an option after kayaking cycling or sightseeing

The Birdhouse is a very special place for a couple and a furry friend. A peaceful setting which is close enough to all the activities, restaurants and shopping. Who knew rocking on the lovely screened porch while watching the beautiful cardinals feed would be the highlight of every day?!

Fishing from the dock was great. Loved that the yard was fully fenced. Watching the river from the screened in porch was so relaxing. Looking forward to a return visit.

We love staying at the Birdhouse! Dana is an excellent host, providing a gift on arrival as well as charcoal for the grill. We enjoyed using the canoe one morning and rocking on the front porch is always enjoyable! The bed is very comfortable and we slept well.

The Birdhouse was the perfect escape. Wonderful river front house with fishing pier. My favorite spot to be was on the scrrened front porch, in a rocking chair overlooking the river. Host was awesome!

Fantastic place!

Went there for my girlfriend's birthday weekend. Had a fabulous time! Beautiful spot on the Withlacoochee river literally a minute or two from Dunnellon boat ramp at City Hall. Gorgeous wild Florida scenery, majestic cypress trees, beautiful lawn and cabin, great Host. Would recommend and we will be going back!!

Great Place to unwind from life

We had a very pleasant stay the Bird House. My friend kept telling me about it and we are glad we finally booked some time. Large property well maintained. You can enjoy sitting on the dock, in the yard, on the screened in deck and of course inside. lovely place ready to book again.

Very Relaxing Stay

My husband and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary. Very relaxing. The porch and rocking chairs were a plus. We truly appreciated the thought gifts when arriving (Hummingbird bread, Jam and toys for the pets). Enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Dana and Pam!!
