“This is a really lovely and immaculately maintained property, and one that provides and excellent base for exploring the Lake District. “We weren't familiar with the area but chose the property for size and facilities. The property was really warm, comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Plenty of kitchen equipment for us to cook for 19. The grounds were lovely. A good base for a day out in the lakes too. Highly recommended!”

"Pls beware of check in time. It’s only till 10:30pm. I arrived just a few minutes after 10:30pm as there was heavy rain in pitch dark roads and I couldn’t drive fast enough, the reception was closed and all lights turned off in the common area. Luckily, they put the emergency number there, I called and they sent someone to give us the room keys in a few minutes. Other than that, the services of the staff are friendly and I enjoyed my stay there. Parking right at the hotel front is also convenient. "
