“Beautiful location, lovely village and park across the road. Very safe for children to walk around the village. Though mine just stayed in the park. The staff at this hotel are very well mannered, attentive and successful in what they do regardless of obvious pressures. A bit disappointed there wasn't any danishes available before breakfast had finished at the early time of 930am. Plenty of cereals, toast and jams with plenty of coffee that you can takeaway”
“Location was good and also the matras was ok. The Bath and furniture were dated, Bath rust and mold. View from the window on garbage from hotel. We had lots of flies in the room. The TV was not working properly (bad receipt most channels). No soap and shampoo at shower (both empty). No cleanup room and clean towels for 2nd night. We paid for breakfast but was poor. On tables outside in the morning they left all the bottles and glasses. They are not looking after the place. Much much too……
“Another few days spent at the hotel following bereavement. Rooms clean and spacious. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Bar food good really cheerful bar staff.
Breakfast good quality.
Good value all round.”
“Noisy in the room until the pub closes - guess I should have expected that. When the pub closed, it was fine. No double glazing so you can hear everything from the beer garden seating too. All fine, so long as no one is there very late, or no one is there very early.”
“We had the perfect stay.
The Owls Nest was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. From the comfy bed, hot tub and the Webber bbq all made it so relaxing. Dog friendly which was a bonus.
Jenny & Margaret were great hosts. We appreciated the special touches.
We had such a lovely time that booked to go again before we left.
Highly recommended.”
