BEACH SERVICES: Beach services at the Resorts of Pelican Beach is provided by La Dolce Vita (866-651-1869). Hours are 9am to 5pm from March 1st through October 31st. All beach services are managed by La Dolce Vita under agreement with the Pelican Beach Resort Owners' Association. Policies are applicable to all guests and owners of the resort. Beach setups may be rented directly on the beach the day of, based on availability.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Destin condo with a view

The condo was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view from the balcony is beautiful. We spent our mornings drinking our coffee and our nights winding down on the balcony. Having 4 elevators made it very easy to get down to the beach or out for the night. Easy access to the beach and outside showers make it nice if you spend your time on the beach. The Emerald Coast has the best beaches! We would definitely use this condo again!

Great View!

Absolutely loved the gorgeous ocean view, and the condo had everything needed for our stay. However, it could use some updating and better maintenance. The toilets didn’t flush properly and my husband wasn’t able to take a shower in the master bath due to standing water that wouldn’t drain. Cleanliness wasn’t the best either. Do not look up at the shower head in the second bath: very dirty. We didn’t call management because the resort was so busy, so that is on us.

Great place. Must buy beach chairs if you want a spot on the beach. No wash/dryer in room but we were able to use the ones on the floor with no problems or wait just extra cost. The dishwasher did leak which we did report when we were there but still washed dishes just had to keep a towel down so no one slipped. Lots of security felt very safe. Everything you need is there so you don’t have to leave resort at all!

Nice room on a budget. Needs some updates and TLC. Beautiful view. Hotel property has strict beach rules regarding umbrellas and such. Most all of beach front is taken up by rental umbrellas during peak seasons. Really hinders view on beach. Best view is from balcony. Cold AC was nice!

Family Florida Vacation

Very nice accommodations. View of the ocean was outstanding. Pools and hot tubs were a great hit. The resort was very clean and well kept.

Great location, great views, overall nice but a little small.

Do not bet on getting into your room early, the property manager (Vacasa, not pelican beach management) would not let us in until 4pm even though the front desk checked us in and the room was clean and ready. The room itself is clean, updated, and has a great view. It’s does need some fixing, the second bathroom shower has a crack in the pan and the shower head sprays water on the wall. The master bed has beat the wall up quite a bit. The ceilings were pretty dusty. But nothing major that takes away from the trip. This room does not have in unit laundry, there’s coin operated on the same floor however. This unit says it would sleep six people but any more than parents and 2 maybe 3 kids would be very very tight. Would recommend planning to purchase the beach service chairs as they take up the entire beach and leave no room for private setups, which was about $50 a day. The pool areas looked very nice but we didn’t personally use them.

Love this unit!

The unit was much bigger than anticipated, which was a great surprise. Everything was clean and well kept. Nice touch to the bathrooms that had the storage caddy’s for plenty of space for toiletries between the four females that came. Front facing view of the ocean and pool was a huge plus as well as the quick walk to the beach. Would love to book this unit again in the future!

Beach front view was amazing. Right on the beach and easily accessible to the beach. Tiki bar was excellent. But not the worth for the money we paid. Bathroom was fine. Comforters, bedsheets, and pillowcases can be replaced. Asked for 11AM checkout, since I was working, but it was denied.

Nice condo but please consider maintenance issues such as hallway toilet wobbling, toilets barely flush, outlets, both need replacing by bedside (only 1 of 2 plugs work) need baking pans for cooking, better cookware, no contact info from owner to inform of issues, no extra blankets for twin beds or main bedroom. Washer & dryer close to condo and coin operated. Disposal of trash is close also. Outside patio dirty with bird poo. Customer service is not good at resort with issues of needing batteries and light bulbs in condo. Didn't know who to call to get help. Beautiful view of ocean. Don't put hand towels and washcloths on back of toilet when cleaned!!! Nice mattress.

Beware of house rules not listed when you book

House rules and threats of fines and being evicted at checkin should be listed before you book. We go to the beach twice a year and have never had a condo dictate our vacation like this. Plus it had mold growing fron the air vents. Beware....

Great View

It was a solid room and the staff were great. There were a few small things wrong with the room, but not enough to complain about for sure. The bed was super comfortable and the pools were great. Also, the Tiki Bar is a must. Can’t wait to go back soon.
