Relax and enjoy your beach vacation in this beautifully decorated 2BR/2BA unit with in unit laundry on the 9th floor at Pelican Beach Resort that was renovated the in the fall of 2017 with additional renovations winter of 2023. The living area and master bedroom open onto the balcony overlooking the beautiful emerald waters of the gulf and the white sandy beach. The kitchen has been upgraded with granite counter tops, backsplash and stainless appliances. New furniture and decorating in the entire living area to make you feel at home at the beach. LR has flat screen TV, Blue Ray, and stereo with streaming capability as well as brand new queen sleeper. New granite and cabinets in both baths along with new tile showers, tile floors and toilets. New flooring and mattresses in both bedrooms as well as main living area. New washer/dryer in unit. Master has King with big flat screen TV and second BR has queen with flat screen. Sand toys for the kids, beach chairs. Pelican Beach Resort offers deeded private beach, beach service, kayak rentals, and 3 pools plus a children's pool, 2 hot tubs, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, seasonal Gulf front beach bar, poolside deli cafe, a sundries shop, game room, covered parking, dry sauna, steam bath, spa and fitness center, picnic area with grills, 24 hour front desk and security, on-site manager, banquet and conference facilities, all right on the beach!

Fantastic!!

The condo is as described. Fantastic view off the balcony. The beach is amazing! The property is very family friendly. Saw many people using the grills that are available. The Cafe has fantastic breakfast. Definitely plan to go back!

Spring Break Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at this beach condo! It was very clean and had a stunning view that made every morning special. I loved that it provided beach toys, chairs and umbrella for us to use, super convenient. The property offered plenty of great amenities, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and fun. The owner was incredibly communicative and helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly. We’ll definitely be booking again!

Great stay!

We had a great stay. The condo was very clean and had all we needed to cook. My only dislikes was the bathroom floor to the master room was dangerously slick when the smallest amount of water got on the floor and the chair rentals are not for a full day.

Beautiful place!

This place is really nice and easy access from the main parking lot. It was nice to be able to walk out to the beach, and that they have the water park right across the street. Owner was kind enough to check in with us and the place was very nice and clean.

Perfect Getaway Spot

My family of 5 (husband, 4yo, 2yo and newborn) absolutely loved our stay in Jim's condo! He communicated often to ensure all was well and any questions were addressed. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and the balcony being our favorite part. That view is spectacular! Checkin/check-out process was very simple. We really enjoyed the easy beach access, the 3 pools and the tiki bar. We would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future!

Pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay. The communication was excellent. The place was very clean. It had everything we needed. The beds are quite comfortable. The location of the building is very convenient. There are many kids activities nearby. Plenty of stores and restaurants also.

Awesome Condo with Gulf View

This is an incredible condo! It appeared to have been recently updated and was very clean. The spacious balcony had plenty of seating and great views of the gulf. The owner of the condo communicated with us throughout our stayed to make sure we had everything we needed and was settled in. We would definitely stay here again! 10/10

Very nice, clean condo. Plenty of kitchen dishes. Only complaint is walls are thin and could hear others showering next door. Off season maintenance was loud and dusty but not fault of owner or VRBO. Nice and close to the beach and lots of restaurants to choose from. Great location. Would recommend to others.

Great place

The unit was very clean, well stocked and very up to date. Jim was great to work with. He answered all our questions within hours of asking. Made suggestions for deep sea fishing and points of interest in Destin. Also make sure you check all the closets, there is a lot of beach chairs, toys and umbrellas. The resort was very clean, a tiki bar and multiple pools if you want to leave the beach. We’ll definitely be back in the future and we highly recommend renting Jim’s property. Thanks for a very relaxing vacation Jim.

Great unit

This condo was clean, stocked with everything we needed. Very comfortable place to stay and communication with Jim was superb. The view of the ocean is all to the east, so you won’t see a sunset from the balcony. Please note this resort is right in the heart of other resorts on Destin’s beach. Therefore be prepared to have strict restrictions on where you can set up on the beach. Absolutely not Jim’s fault, but please be aware that this is a resort (and other adjacent resorts’) policy.

Excellent Rental!

Overall excellent experience! The cleanest rental I've ever had! Spotless. Kitchen had every item needed to cook nightly dinners. Beds were soft and comfy! Patio furniture was nice and we loved the view from the balcony! We had some chilly days so the extra blankets in the closest were a nice bonus! The location is great with easy access to everything. The teenagers were able to walk anywhere they needed if the car wasn't available to them. We are a family who loves to walk so no complaints here! The condo was also very quiet, which was great considering we were there over spring break! Far enough from the elevator that there was no noise but close enough that it was a quick walk. No real noise from other condos unless the people above dropped something heavy. The walls must be decently thick b/c we didn't hear a peep from our neighbors! Kids (2-17year olds) loved the pools and adults loved the hot tubs and beach! The Tiki Bar was a very welcomed addition to the location! Only area of opportunity would be to provide a few more trash bags and a some more dishwasher detergent. Only 2 of each were provided and given the low cost of each, would have been nice for more to have been provided. We bought more and left them behind, hopefully for the next few guests to use! Jim was excellent at communication and though we didn't need him for anything (another amazing bonus, to not need to bother the owner!) we felt confident we would receive a quick reply if something had come up!

We had a great time! The condo is great. Kitchen was great and we cooked most of our meals there. The beds were very comfortable. The beach out front of the resort was fantastic. Jim was always available which we greatly appreciated. It’s a great place to stay!

Birthday getaway

We really liked the unit we stayed in. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable, it had lovely beach decor with ocean view as well as nice hot water for the showers. Everything was very clean. The people were friendly. There is a wide variety of restaurants and activities near by, something for everyone!
