“Room was super nice and very clean. The decor was quite pleasing. The communication was perfect. We drove in late to the property and the ease of locating our cabin was perfect. After loving the cabin from the beginning the comfort and quietness only added to the experience. The morning brought chirping birds and a cool breeze on the above cabin deck, accessible by a nice little spiral staircase. Excellent place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Location is perfect ; just minutes away from downtown……

“Booked last minute and this was our first stay here. We were very happy with the both the cabin, the surroundings and the proximity to Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. There are multiple cabins in the compound and this would be the perfect location for several couples planning to visit the area but who don't want to share a multi-room house. Everything was clean and functional. We stayed in the Hope cabin which I gather is the smallest but we never felt cramped for space. The view out……

“First off, this is a very romantic setting, and was a perfect spot to celebrate our 36th anniversary. Pictures can't capture the beautiful use of cedar wood throughout the cabin, which extended from the carpentry to the countertops to the furniture. If you are as silly as I am for this wood, you'll be in heaven. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a treat to have the Jacuzzi. “Weekend started off rough! After traveling nearly 5 hours for a much needed weekend, my husband and I arrived (approximately 1 hour after check in time) to a dirty cabin. Our plans were to rest for a bit after traveling, shower and clean up before going out to eat for the evening. However, we walked in to a smell from trash that had not been emptied, a bed where the covers had been pulled up from the previous guest, wet towels hanging, wash cloths draped in the shower and a wet bath mat.
