“When we arrived the person at the front desk was on a personal phone call and we waited several minutes for her to end her call. The fan in the bathroom didn't work so we contacted the front desk and advised them and were told they would send to maintenance man over which they never did for the two days of our stay. We are 84 and 79 and the person at the desk put us in a second story room with no elevator! I called the desk and asked if there was a king bed room on the first floor and were told……

“The highlight of this Inn is the staff. As soon as I checked in I felt like I was making a friend, not just checking in. Had a little mechanical issue in the room and I was moved right away. The staff was great! The Inn was very clean and I was happy to see that they had Netflix etc, so I didn't have to scroll endlessly through cable with commercials.”

“It's under new management so they are in the process of cleaning it up. The room was large and clean. The pool wasn't in use yet but they were working on whatever it needed. The front staff was very friendly and we joked about a few things. Continental breakfast. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.”

“Absolutely! Here’s a balanced review that’s honest without being overly harsh: Fair stay with some areas that could use improvement Overall, our stay was fair. The hotel is older but has had some updates. However, there are still several areas that feel dated and could use some attention. The walls, curtains, and lamp shades in the room could definitely be updated, and the floors were noticeably dirty. The beds were fairly comfortable, which made for a decent night’s sleep. One inconvenience……

“Hanford House is delightful. Very clean and inviting. We’ve stayed there many times and will continue to do so!”

“Overall, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were very clean. However, there was a strong smell of smoke in the room, and even ventilating the space didn't help. Even worse, some unknown device in the room kept vibrating and sounding an alarm; it emitted a piercing noise every few minutes throughout the entire night. We tried all night to figure out what was causing the sound but couldn't locate the source, which meant we didn't get any sleep. We had high expectations for this historic hotel……
