“Alrighty, the place had charm. It’s a manor house that was built in the late 1800s. David, the owner, was an engaging and passionate host, but gave the impression that he couldn’t be bothered to go too much beyond the expected. The room was charming! However, it’s an old building and it lacked modern amenities and the room was in an isolated part of the building. If you like, staying in an historic house and being a bit off the beaten path, and this is a great place. I have no regrets but I……

“Great location, nice ground floor room with access to a courtyard. Minor issues with sink not draining and shower had some mould but overall a great stay. Nice breakfast in the morning.”
