“I don’t think I would stay if it were free. List of issues I encountered . 1. Was not greeted upon arrival 2. Golf cart was broken to go to fitness center - pickle ball - 3. No hot water 4. Short staffed - the servers we did have were super friendly and needed help to do their job. 5. Sargassum was TERRIBLE. Smell took over place . I understand the sargassum in the sea so that’s just this time of year / part of life right now in the Caribbean and all over the world. 6. Checked out 19……

“This resort is AWESOME! Staff is super friendly and absolutely stunning views - well maintained - the owner Mrs. Elizabeth’s weekly Nature History Tour was an added bonus. She is very passionate about and very involved here at the Buccaneer Resort . Will for sure be back !”

“The property is close to town and has a great view. However, it is in desperate need of a complete remodel. We stayed in an oceanfront king. The bed is actually a queen The room reeked of cleaning chemicals to the point of making your eyes water. There was barely a trickle of luke warm water in the shower. The cable went out and never came back on, the light on the balcony didn't work, the coffee machine was clogged and blew hot coffee throughout the room, and the hair dryer actually blew up……

“My first trip to the Virgin Islands and I felt right at home! Everything was beautiful, well kept, clean, staff were friendly, convenient and the food was great! I almost didn’t book because of the mixed reviews but I’m so glad I did! I cannot wait to go back!”

Views are wonderful, beach is very nice and not crowded, bartender Connor was excellent and food truck was delicious!! We fell in love with the cats around our cabin. “Do Not be fooled by this listing. The pool is NOT A PRIVATE POOL. It is shared and you have to ASK FOR PERMISSION to use it. When I found this out, I asked for a refund and was denied. I told him I that his post is misleading and based on what he advertised, I was under the impression that the pool was private and part of the rental. He stated that it wasn't. ”

“The unit was clean and ready to go, once we found it. We arrived after dark and could not find it but Silver, the host, met us at the entry of this gated community and escorted us up. We own a place on St Croix but it was rented to others so we needed a place to stay for a week. This unit is convenient to the east end restaurants and there are 3 beaches within a 5 minute drive. The unit is huge and could use some more furnishing but the basics were there. We only did breakfast at the unit……

“We cannot say enough great things about our exceptional one week stay at Jin and Sung Lee’s. They were incredibly welcoming hosts!Their place is spacious, clean and comfortable and the views are spectacular!They made sure we knew our way around since GPS doesn’t always work right near the house. To cap it off we enjoyed homemade Jin Choi sushi and delicious lemon cake! We hope to visit again in the future!”

“Had a very adventurous stay got to visit all the islands would love to come back”

“This was our second year at this property. We are a group of college athletes coming to St. Croix for a training trip at the St. Croix Yacht Club. The house is PERFECT for our group! Its close to the club, can fit a bunch of people. We cook dinners in the upstairs and downstairs kitchens. And of course hanging pools side after training is great too. ”

“Too much money for what you get. Only two very small forks. Bed sheets are old and stretched out and don’t stay on the mattress. Only blanket had not been washed for some time and was pretty gross.only way to turn off fan was to turn off power to half of the apartment.”

“We have spent our winters in St. Croix for the past 43 years and are therefore are very familiar with the island and its accommodations. We have stayed in this unit previously under different ownership, and in comparison, to prior visits, this year's experience was disappointing.The unit did not have a working bbq, as advertised. What was there was a derelict bbq that lacked working burners; the back of the firebox was missing, the wheels and side shelf were collapsed.There was a lack of……
