"The property was tucked away and in a beautiful location. We made great use of the lakes and explored on paddle board and kayak, launching from just by the parking area and front door to the property. Very convenient! "

The lodge is beautifully designed and perfectly set up for guest stays in the most idyllic spot in the garden, with so many special touches included like wine, homemade jam, fresh milk, bread and freshly laid eggs from their hens! "We really enjoyed our stay - it was perfect for our family of 4 and our plans. The reason for 4, rather than 5, stars was due to a couple of things. At night, there was no blind for the front door so no way for privacy - neighbours could look straight in. We cooked each night but there were no oven gloves (we would have been happy to bring some if we only knew). Your water gets amazingly hot and we felt some kind of warning is needed, especially when small children are staying. These things are...
