“The hotel is a bit inconvenient unless you are driving. The cleanliness needs to be improved. ”

“I was able to check in online before I arrived at The Kicking Dickey. The staff were very helpful and friendly along with the pub which I thought was very welcoming. My room was at the rear of the property so away from any noise. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained, I think it might of been a converted stable. Nice functional bathroom with a shower and a very comfortable single bed. Lots of free parking outside the property. All in all well worth a stay.”

“Everything good apart from a ridiculously long wait for breakfast. Unsure why, when the breakfast room is virtually empty, it takes 35-45 minutes to serve scrambled eggs and smoked salmon? Shame as such great accommodation but breakfast service really needs urgent attention.”

We would have liked a small fridge and a second opening window as the weather was exceedingly hot, but we appreciated the air conditioning.
