“Staff was great and room was very clean and remodeled”

“Staff was very helpful. As a family of 6 the extra sitting room with pullout couch was awesome. Asked for a rollaway bed and was told they no longer provide them but after our long day getting back there was one sitting outside our room. Room was super clean and comfortable. Absolutely would recommend.”

“Stayed in handicap room by not picking room correctly. Clean room but had issue that the door would not close and lock would just open right up very time try to close. Told lead manager and he came over and told us we need to pull up on door and push it closed. Several times in our stay the door would just open up on its own and how is a handicap person to do this when capable person had issues. Had paint peeling in the bathroom and flex shower head was leaking out the wall and head unit. ……

“It is glamping in a Teepee, so keep that in mind. It did get down to 45 when I woke, but they have excellent electric blankets. The units do have some age to them and have some of the zippers coming away from the fabric causing extra gaps. No bugs during my stay in June, so no issues with that. I am an outdoor person and loved every thing from the hammock near the creek to the cold morning chill which was whisked away by the little water heater kettle to make coffee and sit on a chair on the……

“Great View”

“We loved our stay at Chico Hot Springs! Jen checked us in late in the evening and made sure we still had time to get a quick soak in the hot springs. Staff was very friendly and great food options on the menu. The property is beautiful and the hot springs were recently redone. Hot Springs pool was great for adults and kids. Room was nice and complimentary coffee was provided in the morning in the hotel lobby.”

“Nice Stay”

“This was my family’s first Under Canvas experience and we absolutely loved it! It’s definitely glamping so brings some of the comforts of hotel lodging to the great outdoors. You can expect amazing amenities in your tent including wood burning stove, full bathroom and shower, comfortable mattress and seating areas. It was easy enough to locate and secluded enough to see the Milky Way on a clear night. The reception and dining was spectacular!!! Way nicer than I imagined. The breakfast was……

“It’s about as scenic a location as you can imagine. There’s hammocks, fire pit, horseshoe pit, and disc golf available. Breakfast is yogurt, oatmeal, muffin, juice, and coffee. It wasn’t cold during our stay but I’m sure it would be comfortable even if it was cold with heaters, bed warmers, and extra blankets available. Kids loved it and we wish we had stayed longer.”

“Wish we could have stayed here longer and enjoyed the view. Great omelette casserole breakfast (for adults), maybe add some kid friendly options like pancakes or waffles or kid cereal (I think there was Raisin Bran there). My child wouldn’t eat anything. Loved the room and front porch view.”
