We were warned by local friends that the area is dangerous, but felt safe walking in and out of Harlem to the city as well as by tube at all times and had a really good time in NYC. “Perfect spot to stay with our kids. Clean property, easy access to the PATH train, close to restaurants and shops. Easy to ditch the car next door.”

“We booked our stay here two days before checking in. On the day of we had not heard from the host. After multiple attempts to contact them, via app and phone call, it wasn’t until 45 minutes after we were supposed to check in that our reservation was cancelled due to having been double booked on another platform. “We really appreciated this apartment while traveling with our toddler, who was quite overwhelmed by the city. It was such a quiet, spacious, calm place to return to. We could have used a curtain to better block the light for sleeping and a sharper knife (we must be the only people who cooked so much during a stay in NYC...as I said, our kiddo didn't love going out on the town), but other than that, the stay was perfect.
