“We hope to come back!”

“An hour before check in, we received a message that they needed to change our stay to Mark's Retreat instead of the Oakleaf Treehouse, due to something happening with the septic. They said they would give us a free night in the Treehouse for the inconvenience. I called and spoke with someone the following day explaining that the entire purpose of the trip was to stay in a treehouse, and that it was our 27th anniversary. The entire trip was ruined because the purpose was the treehouse. The person……

“I love staying in historic places!! A hot tub room was a treat! Loved the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was exceptional. ”

“Beautiful historic inn, our only complaints were that our room was along the busy highway and it was loud, the coffee from the pods tasted burnt, and the breakfast was quite bare-bones (somewhat to be expected as it was continental). The fan blades also had a thick layer of dust. Other than that, everything was clean, well-kempt, and cozy/comfortable. I will say we got our hopes up when we saw the sign for a gift shop on-site--there is no gift shop, ”
