Meh, staff nice enough… but ‘Resort”? Not. More like a motel in decent shape. Area was a bit seedy. No breakfast these days? OK for price but don’t try to fool us with an extravagant “regular price”, then a discount….is maybe worth about what we paid..

I booked a deluxe studio villa and upon arrival, maybe because it was Mother’s Day weekend and we got there around 1AM but the man checking us in upgraded my son and I into a 1 bedroom villa! He gave me all the info about things to do and amenities, gave me a map for all the pools and told me just about anything else I needed to know about the resort. Anyways the 1 bedroom villa (in building 5800) must’ve been renovated recently because it didn’t look anything like the pictures I’ve seen when I originally booked. It had a full kitchenette, I never really had to leave the resort to eat out since I was able to cook in our place. I just wish the waterpark was opened a little longer and they didn’t have height restrictions for the water slides, my son is fairly tall and was only allowed to use the 3 “big kid” ones and wanted to use the others on the 2nd floor waterpark since he was scared but he was told he couldn’t. Definitely planning to come back again, the last time I stayed at Westgate was back in 2007 or 2008 when I was a kid. You can’t beat the price and staff were extremely friendly. If you’re not a miserable entitled Kevin/Karen and you’re pleasant to staff, you’ll love your stay here and they’ll treat you with the same kind of respect!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Clean, organized, and comfortable. We will be back!
