“We went to check out the University of Chicago. We were a mile or less from the center of campus, and maybe a 1/3 of a mile from the green line for forays to downtown and points more afield. We did it without a car. Nice place, responsive host. We would stay again.”

“Not having stayed in a downtown loft before, I did have to really follow the directions provided closely in order to get in the unit. It's a bit complicated at first because you use an app for the key which I've not done before, but figured it out with the help of my teens. I found a parking garage less than a block away through another app on a suggestion from the manager which was very convenient. The location cannot be beat. There are so many great places to eat as well as a jazz club……

“Came for a long weekend in Chicago, familiar with the area so we knew the location was convenient & a quiet safe neighborhood. Parking was decent & we enjoyed hanging out in the backyard with our dog for our stay. No way this sleeps 8, much smaller in person. Pros: yard, parking, AC worked well, decent kitchen setup Cons: issues with door keypad, WiFi password did not work, no hot water in shower (handle didn’t turn all the way to hot?) bathroom is TINY, no where to really set anything in……

“The yard is awesome, of course the hot tub at the top of the hill was the best, and we enjoyed the firepit as well. The house was a tidy little cottage at which we enjoyed our stay. It’s within a short walk to the National Park and downtown Miller Beach. The neighborhood is fine, pretty secluded, and still close to most attractions.”
