“This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve had. The room had a strong mildew smell that made it feel damp and unclean from the moment I walked in. The “fitness center” was a joke. It was dark because the lights didn’t work properly, the treadmill barely functioned, and the free weights started at 15 pounds with no lighter options. Calling this a gym is a stretch. “The hotel had been somewhat updated recently. Our room had a damp/unfresh smell but as we ran the a/c longer it improved. Very good breakfast selection. Clean pool area. Felt safe in the area. Easy access to highway and we were able to walk to Walmart to get a phone charger. Overall good for a reasonable price.”

“I selected a handicap room when I booked through Expedia. When I arrived, I once again requested a handicap room. When I arrived in the room and started unpacking, I thought, I better check the bathroom...it was not a handicap room. I called the front desk”

“The house was in a good location. Only street parking is available, but it was convenient and there was always space. The house is definitely “antique”, but everything worked; water flowed, toilet flushed, lights came on, etc. Wood floors squeeked throughout the house. Hosts are available via text only and were not always responsive. Even though breakfast is included, it was nothing to write home about. You are probably better off going somewhere else for food. All in all, not a bad stay,……
