"Have been to several resorts in punta cana, however this one was older and it showed. The place is more concerned about getting you to upgrade to their membership for thousands of dollars. They definitely don’t care/prioritize anyone not in the membership. So don’t fall for the “breakfast buffet in an exclusive spot for a 90 min tour”.
Now the rooms- I got one of the “nicer” family suites however my tv stopped working day 2, as well as the phones. The other tv in the kids room, never worked from day 1. When they asked how everything was I told them and nothing was even looked at. The one day our room didnt get cleaned for no reason other than we were forgotten about, we came back from the pool to get ready for our dinner reservations, had 0 towels, so went down to concierge since the phones didn’t work and was told they would let housekeeping know, after an hour went by and we had to leave, we passed the concierge and told him still no towels and he told us its not his problem. I would’ve had no problem reusing yesterday’s towels however the bathroom had these little ants on the sink and knee wall so I couldn’t.
Staff isn’t the best, most of them are not friendly. Food was ok, nothing great but not bad.
The waterpark was very run down compared to the pictures i went by, and half the slides weren’t even open.
I will say The entertainment/activities were great.
If you’d ask me and my family, if we’d ever go back to this resort, it’s my first time saying no, we wouldn't."
