"We booked 4 nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday and had a great stay! Property is gorgeous, staff is super friendly and helpful, we did some tours and a visit to Grecialandia (a must do!) in puerto plata and it was an easy drive about 45/50 minutes. It’s great to have a resort feel that also feels like home. Having a full kitchen is a game changer and the apartment was much bigger than it appeared in the photos, which we appreciated. Will definitely be back! "

"Second trip to excellence Punta Cana. Disappointed with stay. Quality of property decreased since February 2025\. Simply insufficient amount of chairs by the pool as well as on the beach. Guests have to be fighting it out to get a chair. Not enough staff. Quality of food at restaurants is also down. As is quality of serving staff. Non challant on one hand for older personnel and untrained for newer personnel. It is also tale of two different resorts under the same roof. Guests at the excellence club side had a lot more chairs as well as personal service. We paid top dollar to have an ocean view room, for almost the same amount we could have stayed in a garden view room at the club side with definitely higher level of service. I would not recommend this resort. "

" Very clean rooms and resort overall. Staff was welcoming and accommodating! Good variety of restaurant options along with the 2 buffets which had a great selection. If you can get a massage, Juliana and her team are amazing. We had deep tissue and a relaxing massages. First massage for my 14 yr old granddaughter, she’s hooked. We enjoyed our week and plan to return next year! Bring your spf 50 sunscreen and aloe Vera after sun lotion 😉"
