The house is conveniently located not too far from two beach entries and the Calumet bike trail. If you haven't brought your bike with you, you can rent it in two locations close to the house. “This was the 4th time we have stayed there. It has always been good.and uts very affordable. This year it felt like the neighborhood has changed. By change i mean its a little "rougher ". There's now a bus stoo in front. I was approached by a homeless man as i was entering the apartment. I realize that this could happen anywhere but it was unsettling. The apartment and location are great. I would not steer anyone away from renting there. I just think we may try somewhere else next year.”

“Our stay at his home was everything! The home was very beautiful. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. All the rooms had beautiful unique taste. Me and my guests enjoyed the entire home. We meet the owner and he was so nice! The rules were respectful and understandable. I highly recommend this home for your next adventure. Communication was immediate between me and the homeowner! Definitely coming back when we come back to Chicago!”

Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for all. The host was helpful and responded quickly. “The good: it’s spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. The decor was nicely done and felt cozy. Neutral: the property is old and in need of maintenance. It’s very close to the railroad track and the whole house shakes when a train goes through. The bad: The bathroom situation is awful. The shower is rigged up and secured with wooden post toppers. The frame rigged around the tub was bent and there was no way to fully close the curtain to shower without getting water all over the bathroom.……
