"Everything was right there all restaurants, stores and the beach as well as the pool and the restaurant , bar and all compared it to the other hotels and i think its the best choice since its so close to the ferry walking distance no need for a taking after getting off the ferry and you can get a gilf cart for the day or two to visit all the island but everything is so close and the rooms are very clean and they had just upgraded the pool and the restaurant for breakfast is infront of it with delicious food and cheaper then everywhere to be honest more than the food trucks to to be honest overall my family loved it and will be coming back."

"Tucked away just off the main streets of downtown Isla Mujeres, Hotel Secreto is a true hidden gem. This secure, boutique hotel offers card-only access and a peaceful retreat from the island’s hustle and bustle. We stayed in a first-floor room with a private patio overlooking the pool and a partial view of the ocean. It featured a table, chairs, and a cozy lounging bed—the perfect spot to unwind. The pool was a nightly favorite for us, with just the right temperature to relax under the stars while listening to the gentle sound of ocean waves. We were even lucky enough to spot sea turtles nesting along the shore—truly unforgettable! The staff were friendly and helpful when approached, with small touches like opening the front door for us daily so we didn’t need to pull out our key card. The pool and rooftop bar attendants were also very kind and welcoming. While the hotel is quiet and restful, two small notes: the air fresheners used throughout are a bit strong, and the room could benefit from a ceiling or portable fan. That said, this hotel is an incredible value. The property is kept exclusive—only guests and rooftop bar patrons are allowed—which made it feel private and serene. We’ll absolutely be back when staying on the north end of the island. Highly recommended for couples or solo travelers seeking tranquility and charm."

"Let me start by saying. I’m fortunate to have traveled the Caribbean often. I’ve been to Mexico many times over the last 20+ years and Isla Mujeres several times. I’ve stayed in everything from 5 star all inclusive to some down right outdated DIY hotels. Casa Del Jaguar didn’t miss. From the reception to departure everything was handled perfectly. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful through out our stay. Sonny (spelling) our waiter on the beach every day was on top of everything. We never went thirsty or hungry and although busy, he still had time to converse and answer questions about the area. The beach is conveniently located and beautiful. The infinity pool is situated so that it has a great view, it’s clean and very refreshing. One room had a minor AC issue and it was handled within minutes. One day we had some sargasm blow in on the beach (Mexico is horrible with it right now) and they had a crew of 40ish people rake, and wheelbarrow it all away before 8:30am. I can’t say enough about this place or the staff. If I had one thing I would make someone aware about is that breakfast, while great food, it takes a while. If you’re laid back and in vacation mode, it’s not an issue at all. If you’re in a hurry to get somewhere, you may want to grab something on the go. "

"I don’t think I can say enough good things about this resort, not only is it on the most beautiful beach in Isla Mujeres but it’s still tucked off where it feels secluded and quiet, the staff was amazing Karen who works the front desk during the day, went out of her way to help us with spa treatments, recommendations, and was really such a pleasure to be around, she was very personable and you could tell she loved what she did and she was happy to help in anyway she could, the Lotus was also walking distance to amazing food and shopping, the staff was amazing, our room was beautiful, and we already booked our next stay, couldn’t recommend this place more. "Lovely not expensive hotel. Beds and bathrooms are not updated or fancy but it is right on the water by the best beach on isla mujeres. Pool is nice, no restaurant on property but so many places nearby. Multiple beach clubs are across the street! Will stay again. Balconies and hammocks with beach view is a million dollar view!!"

"The property and the staff at icaco were absolutely amazing. One of the most relaxing vacations my wife and I have done. It was convenient, comfortable , and very well maintained. We watched the sunset from the pool deck and sunrise and sea turtles from our balcony. The girls which gave us massages were just as amazing. This was our 2nd trip to Isla and it has become one of our favorite destinations. We will be back and we will definitely stay at icaco again. Thanks for the great memories"

"The house was perfect for our group of 14. Easy to get to places but also fun to just hang out at the house. Rooms were all decent sized and comfortable. We ran into a couple minor issues but the property management was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely come back here."
