“Mount Airy resort is a nice play for a short stay. Its more geared to those who like to gamble or golf though. If you're not interested in either like myself, then theres not much to do besides the pool. The pool is beautiful and has an outdoor part as well for the summer. The resort has several different food options but for quality and/or price you're better off trying some of the fine local cuisine of the Poconos. The resort is a short drive from plenty of places. “My experience at Split rock was good but not great. It was not worth the money my family and I spent to stay for a weekend. There was no house keeping done. There was not enough towels in the room, I ask for towels they said they will bring but never did. Other than hospitality the place was good. The breakfast was terrible, even though it was all you can eat. There was no bread. There was bacon, sausage, not real eggs and burnt potatoes than had no taste. It was terrible. ”

“It is an older facility that we have stayed at many times. It's always clean and comfortable for what you are charged. The rooms have a couple of chairs outside in case you want fresh air! The breakfast offering is very basic.”
