"Stayed there for an overnight layover on our way to Tahiti. Staff was very accommodating and helpful - 24/7 airport shuttle is a definite plus! Rooms are quaint but well maintained- you’re there to see the island, not sit in the room. Had a well stocked little shop with food, drinks, toiletries. Great restaurant attached to hotel. Not too far from downtown Honolulu. We especially loved the front desk dog, Bella. Would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!!"

"staff was nice. Unless you stay 5 nights no housekeeping. No amenities. Very simple but clean. The room was ok and view was nice EXCEPT there was a construction activity going on right under our window, so was noisy during day. Nothin fancy for sure, and remodeling should be happening soon, since all furniture was older. No in house coffee shop or restaurant."

"Great place to stay. Very convenient location. The hotel offers lei making and hula lessons. We took advantage of the classes and it was so much fun! Carol, the instructor was the best! Also, the staff was knowledgable and friendly!"

"Service was very good overall, however our first night experience almost made us leave because of one night shift employee. Our AC broke the first night and instead of being accommodating, he was extremely rude and said we’d have to pay extra to switch rooms. When we asked for a fan, he complained that he was the only one working and it was “hard” for him to go look for one. He was also rude when we asked about compensation for the inconvenience and even slammed our room door while walking away saying “well I tried my best.” I also witnessed him being condescending to another couple asking a simple question about beach parking. To the resort’s credit, they replaced the AC the next day and gave us complimentary breakfast and one day of free parking, which we appreciated. Unfortunately our fridge also broke later in the trip and had to be replaced. Other than that one employee, the rest of the staff were amazing, friendly, and accommodating, and they honestly made up for the inconveniences. Because of the rest of the team, I would still stay here again."
