"We thought the room and the grounds of the resort were great. We spent most of our time there enjoying the facility and laying along the beach area. We had a living room/kitchen and a separate bedroom and we thought it was laid out great. We would buy food from the close by ABC store and cook or eat at our room. We were in walking distance of the Wailua River Kayaking and hiking experience which we participated in. It was also great! We thought the time share lady at the resort was a bit too aggressive. We did not sit for the presentation she wanted us to attend. After that initial encounter, she never bothered us again. We would go back to this resort again in the future."

"Check in was great! Apple was exceptional, very helpful, courteous and professional. She helped us out with some things that needed to be taken care of before our flight out that evening! The room was clean and had a view of the ocean. Mark at the pool bar was very friendly and took good care of us! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!"

"Huge room, beautiful view, loved the kitchen, fantastic location convenient to beach, shops, airport. Just need to fix the hot water heater. "

"This hotel is situated close to restaurants and shopping, and it has great ocean views for less than you would pay at other Kapa'a locations. "

"We enjoyed the stay as location was very advantageous as between activities in the North and South and everything in between. Property manager was also very responsible whenever we were running short on any supplies and helpful with some tips on local places. We enjoyed pool and Hot Tub and Kitchen seemed to have what you need if you wanted to cook meals but outside breakfast we enjoyed the local restaurants for dinners. "

"Fern Grotto Inn was a beautiful vacation getaway. We were extremely pleased with the Coco A cottage that we stayed at. Would recommend this over a hotel. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and well kept. So many amenities that are an added bonus. A true gem in Kauai! Thank you Paul and staff Lynette & Gary"
