"I expected that the cabin would be ruined from the flood. I called a day or so before I was due to arrive when I got an automatic message about arrival. Of course I was not comfortable coming as I had a reservation for the end of camp and camps had closed and girls sent home. I said I hoped they could use my dates for volunteers or people who had lost their homes. I hope camp will open next year and I would reserve again. The review form is irrelevant in this situation but the people were polite to deal with in a difficult situation"

"We stayed in the cabin called The Outpost. The cabin was clean and basic. The bed was really comfortable. The only thing we didn't like about the cabin was the small TV that barely registered any channels. But with that being said, we didn't book this cabin to watch TV. We did get to see whitetail deer and blackbucks on the property and Omar texted us when he was going to feed the deer so we could see all our most of them on the property; about 40 head of deer. It was an impressive sight. The drive to Kerrville and Fredericksburg wasn't too far of a drive for dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The peace and quiet at nighttime with the stars shining bright makes this place stand out. There was a pool and a hot tub; but the hot tub was closed during the summer - too hot. We definitely would recommend this place if you're looking to get away from the city and to enjoy nature. We would stay here again when in the surrounding area. "BEAUTIFUL property and community. It is very quiet, set back from any busy roads. Staff was very nice and the units were clean and nice. The Pool area was very pretty with 2 pools. One was more dedicated to families while the other was used by adults. Great sitting area near the pool with grills and games. Highly recommend! GREAT value!"

"Another great experience at the Tuck-Away. Because of our previous experience, we weren't concerned, but since we were coming to Kerrville few days after the flood, we weren't sure what to expect. Everything was ready when we arrived and we had a great stay.We come to Kerrville on a regular basis, and will probably book the Tuck-Away when it is available. "

"We stayed at this place for 4th of July. Was not the holiday weekend any one was expecting but the trip was still good. Far away enough from the river to not have issues during the flood. Rental had lots to do even when we were stuck inside most of the day cause of the storm. Robin was very communicative. During the flooding she personally called to check on us. Would recommend this rental 10/10"

"Older property, but well kept. Staff is very friendly. Game watching tour was excellent, saw lots and lots of native and exotic game. Road are paved and easily travelled. You can see a lot of game by simply riding the paved roads slowly. Beautiful new pool. Great sightseeing. Good hearty meals."

"Spent one night with grandparents, teen. In town to pick up kids from camp. Very clean, well accommodated and cool decorations. Grandpa taught granddaughter a few cords on a guitar that just happened to be laying around. There are some steps to the back of the house. We used all 3 bedrooms. If you rent just two, there could be someone else at the back of the house but it has a separate entrance "
