“No bottled water, insufficient seats and cups in the room for 3 adults. The air con didn’t work even the staff reset it, forcing us to open the window which made the room more noisy. ”

“We very much enjoyed a lovely one night stay at the Avoca. We had the most fantastic view from our room overlooking the sea and Mourne mountains. The room was really nicely decorated, cosy and had a large comfy bed. Everything was very clean and well presented. All the staff we came across were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also excellent - great choice and plentiful. Overall a real gem of a stay and we will definitely be back!”

“The room was lovely. The whole property was. I’d definitely stay again due to location and the room. The staff were friendly enough, but overall it just felt a little cold as a stay, but that could have been because it was off season - comfy, nice shared area, lovely room, good location - couldn’t ask for more really. ”

“The breakfast was a nice change from an "all" buffet to having a choice of a hot breakfast from a menu and everything else as a buffet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. ”

“Breakfast was excellent. Shower was as well. Beds not so much. Rooms were comfortable and good-sized. Restaurant was very good. The area around the hotel is quite sparse - not much going on there but that made parking easier and convenient.”

Breakfast was simple but perfect for our needs. Well placed for the centre and a lovely walk to all it has to offer. Simple place, with no hassles and everything we needed.....would happily stay again.”

“Hotel lobby is pretty new and grand for a 3-4 star hotel. The hotel staff are helpful and nice. It's a nice choice if you are traveling in the Belfast City Airport. But the housekeeping service is a bit messy.”
