"This home was in great condition, very clean and well stocked with linens, kitchen utensils. It was off the beaten path and quiet, yet close to Kure and Carolina beaches, as well as shopping and restaurants. Check in was easy, host was prompt in welcoming us and in answering questions.The yard around the outside was weedy and full of sandburrs. The beach chairs were heavy and not practical to take to the beach as was suggested.The screened in porch was grimy, mildewy and unswept."

"Is there a rating over 5 stars? If so, I'd give it to this incredible cottage. The attention to detail in the design, decor and all the quality well-thought out touches easily makes the GG Cottage the best, cleanest, and most welcoming I've ever stayed in. It truly was a ‘golden’ experience."

"We had a great time at Sunset Sound Cottage. They have everything needed to enjoy the intercoastal waters and the beach. They thought of everything. We will definitely stay again when we come back to the area. The owners were easy to get a hold of before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend. "
