"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. "Fantastic seafront hotel. Sits right on the waterfront in the village. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a dedicated parking area available next to the public carpark. The rooms are simple but stylish with nice balconies overlooking the sea. We stayed here for 3 nights and wish we had stayed longer. You can get ferries to teh nearby beaches or you can walk the E4 trail. The downstairs does great coffee aswell as typical greek food. There are two bakeries in town that have great sit in or takeaway food. There is a small pebbly beach in town about 3 mins from the hotel with loungers and a changing shed. Highly recommend."

"Very nice accommodation, exactly as described, house keeping was spot on and the views from the room were amazing. Only slight negative was carrying cases up and down three flights of stairs to get to the room as there was no lift. Staff were very helpful. 5 minutes walk to three or four restaurants or a 15 minute walk into the next town with lots of restaurants, bars and the beach. Highly recommend."
