“I was meeting my daughter for a fun weekend and to hang out in the hot tub and relax and catch up!! We looked on line and there was nothing saying that there hot tub had not been up and running for months ! If we were told this since it was a main event in our thoughts we would have found a hotel that did have a working HT ! Anyway seems like this should be disclosed so a person is not so disappointed!! We will not be returning to this American Inn even though we will go to other American Inns……

“The hotel reception staff was very friendly. Our room was clean and fresh. We loved the hot tub! Our only complaints were that the coffee maker in our room did not work well. We had traveled a couple of hours to get there for a funeral the next day.and and had a late check in . Unfortunately, the main restaurant in the casino, 1991 ,was ready to wrap things up. We got there shortly before 9 PM and nobody was thrilled about serving us when we stopped there. So said we would go somewhere else.……

“How helpful the staff was”

“Beautiful cabin that was perfect for my family. Accommodations were clean and modern. The hot tub and backyard were great for evenings together! Proximity to Paradise Resort made for a fun atmosphere. Cabin is not right on the beach so be prepared to seek out public beaches if you want to enjoy more swimming time. Whipple Beach in Brainerd was excellent!”

“Loved it except no central air. Had everything we needed and wanted.”

“Great cabin right on the lake with a lot of extra amenities to make our stay fun and relaxing! Would stay here again!”
