“Had a lovely stay here for my boyfriend’s birthday. The hotel has a lot of curb appeal and the staff very friendly. Easy check in and easy to also find our room. We had a view over looking the carpark and the hotel were fully booked so no option to upgrade. The room had everything you needed, the bathroom was almost as big as the room itself! “Overall it's good. The service is excellent, and the room is cosy. But there was only one drawback which we met a private party. Therefore, the spa, Sunna cannot used as much as we can.”

“Average old hotel. Large room with good size bed. Bathroom was small and the toilet took forever to refill making a noise for ages after a flush! Breakfast was good - full English breakfast with plenty there. Friendly staff who were very helpful. The parking is tricky - you need a local app to pay, there are no machines at the front of the hotel for your permit! We had to park down the street in the meter parking area until 9pm. Then parking was OK without a permit until 11am at the front of……

“The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area.”

“The property was very clean and tidy. The Continental Breakfast provided was varied, plentiful and fresh. We only met the owner, Rosie and one other member of staff called Linda. Both were very welcoming, nice, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t really have time to investigate the area as our stay there had been for the purpose of visiting friends who we had met on previous holidays abroad and to attend their daughter’s wedding. We wouldn’t hesitate to book to stay at Hogwarts again……
