“Stayed at the Ivy Hill Hotel for a couple of nights visiting family for Christmas. An excellent hotel for a quiet break but within easy reach of London. Staff were fantastic. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast - both very nice. We were given a room upgrade and it was more spacious than our previous visit - very comfortable. Would definitely book again.”

“Beautiful guest house …very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available. ”

“The breakfast was cooked to order, plate and food was lovely and hot and very tasty.. The rooms were very clean and we stayed a couple of nights so had our water - towels - milk refills done after the first night..the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We had our family get together on the Sunday after Christmas so we pre ordered our meals for our large family & table and everything we ordered was spot on!! Could not fault this hotel and staff. We will now be returning a few more times...

“There is a need to be very carefull when describing accomodation as Boutique.Hamiltons is an excellent place to stay very comfortable,clean and a tasty big British Breakfast.Boutique usually has very big towels,dressing gowns to use with the option to buy them,DVD player,fridge in the room and many more extras.Best to describe Hamiltons as Boutique style accommodation.”
