“A lovely rural hotel in the parish of St. Martin, about 10 minutes drive from the airport and 15-20 minutes from St. Peter Port. Located on narrow, winding roads, the hotel provides an excellent base for exploring the island. Reception is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, rooms are nicely decorated, beds are comfortable, and bathrooms with walk-in shower are spotless. Efficient and capable staff freshen up the room each day. There is a pool and a large sitting area outside (but not in use……

“Used for a 1nt stop over. Clean, friendly and affordable. Only one issue was my mum has some mobility issues, both are nearly 80 and were on the 4th, top floor with no lift. So its worth mentioning when booking if you struggle with stairs”

“Wonderful staff. Fab food. First room we were given was v v small my husband couldn’t bend down in the small shower. Had a word and were moved to larger room with larger shower the next day ”

“The hotel was well maintained. The common areas were beautifully decorated and furnished. The breakfast was very good. Although the bedroom was small, there was sufficient storage space. The bathroom (shower and toilet. The sink was in the bedroom), was tiny, which made showering difficult. But my main gripe was the thickness of the wall between my room and the next: I was kept awake on my first two nights by the snoring of the individual in the next room. But apart from that, I would say that……

“Great location in the heart of the city, handy to all amenities including shops, bars, and cafes. Easy walking distance from the ferry terminal (about 10 mins walk). Room was small but totally sufficient for one person. It was warm and cozy, and had a nice outlook with views of the harbour and the islands.The bath was a big plus.Helpful staff, and reception was always available to answer questions. ”

“Really lovley serivce. In particular Pamela and breakfast manager who were so kind to our children. Bit of a shame to only be able to use the pool at 2 set hours a day as with things planned it meant they didnt get to swim.as much as they would like. Bathroom slightly tatty.”

“Very historic building with almost everything still original, dating from 1815. Excellent customer service, clean rooms, plenty of food choices. Relaxed atmosphere.”
