Stayed at the Liner 27th and 28th May 24 our room backed onto Liverpool Lime Train Station, there were train announcements around every 15 minutes from early in the morning until late at night it was awful trying to sleep through it as it was so loud in our room came home extremely tired and felt it ruined our break

I liked that it was close to the train station and downtown Liverpool but could hear the announcer at the station late into the night and early in the morning. Fridge didn’t work and, when it was mentioned to the cleaning staff, no one came to look at it. Poor air circulation in the room, bathroom in particular, which caused an unpleasant odor after the shower was used.

Central hotel next to Lime Street Station. Very reasonably priced because it's so close to the station, so bring ear plugs to bring noise level down. Hotel and room were clean and spacious, except for 2 small elevators. Overall a good place to stay if you have an early train to catch, otherwise make sure you pay a reasonable price.

Excellent location for access to rail station. The executive room on the 6th floor was superb. Plenty of space on the couch to relax. We got the late checkout perk which was helpful. Restaurant service is PAINFULLY slow.

We stayed for 4 nights as part of our vacation. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t use daily housekeeping so I cannot comment on that except the housekeeper was very friendly and the things I asked for were given to me right away. Check in and out was very efficient and we stored our luggage on the last day with no extra charge. The breakfast was really really good. English bacon is amazing. We ate breakfast and nothing again until dinner because we were so full. The hotel is so convenient to the trains and downtown and right around the corner to the Empire Theatre - I wish we could have gotten tickets to see something there. Oh well - next time because we will be back!

Bed side sockets for charging phones watches are essential these days. The VIP discount to their restaurants is great. The breakfast is also good in value. The fans can be quieter.

The staff were so obliging, could not fault them. Only one lift working. A little gliche occurred with a main meal where a dessert which contained gluten was given to my wife who is coeliac by mistake and consequently violently ill during our first night. However when told about this they could not do enough to help and could not apologise enough and corrected this. Would go back again

The room was comfortable but the windows need more sound proofing as it was very noisy. Also I could not get room service after 10pm. However, for the price and central location it was very reasonable.

We stay at this property every time we come to Liverpool , it is an excellent hotel in a convenient position with easy access to Liverpool lime street and shopping . There is a car park which is free use to guests but if staying after checkout it is reasonable at £4 for about four hours .

The Liner Liverpool, inspired on a cruise ship theme, is a quirky and unique hotel located just a few minutes walk from Liverpool Line Street Station and Liverpools theatres. A good base for walking to many of the city’s attractions, 10m to the Caven Area and 20m to the docks. Check in and check out was not always quick, and on initial arrival, not very friendly, but the hotel was clearly in good condition and welcoming by itself. With only 1 lift working, things were slowed down again, but the deluxe room on deck 4 was spotless, comfy and plush. They must have really good housekeeping staff here! No air conditioning, but a large industrial fan provided in room, took care of that. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Bathroom was from back in the ages, but functional and again spotless. A large TV, hairdryer, safe, coffee making facilities, small bottles of water and cakes in a fridge met the necessities and luxuries. Nice view over the front of the hotel from room 406. We used the restaurant, Seven Seas Brasseries twice.. Gio was an highly efficient and friendly supervising waiter and was definitely the hotels best staff member. A order mix up was quickly rectified, but food was fresh and tasty and food/drinks very good value. Allergies were well dealt with by creating a bespoke dish. Thanks to Gio and the chefs! We didn’t visit the bar, but it looked busy and welcoming. We would stay here again as our first choice if returning to the wonderful Liverpool city.
