“The views from the property are outstanding. The Bluefin Grille restaurant is convenient. Good food and a great staff.”

“Pros: stunning sunrise view over Lake Superior, premium location of lake view rooms; Everything is within perfect walking distance just out the door!; full kitchen and comfortable living room furniture and patio seating. Cons: Expedia was very expensive, pricing might have been better direct booking; very hard bed- sunrise thru the windows made up for it, but for pricing I expected much more comfortable bed!; no private pw for internet opening up big risk to people staying there. I wasn’t able……

“Biggest drawback was the price - at least 40% higher than it should be, if not more. Very disappointed in what we experienced for what we paid. The “vision” of the the place and the intent is higher than the execution. Maybe if was better whenever it first opened. The online photos are way more appealing and attractive than the actual unit. The decor — quaint and rustic - it’s fine. There was a huge (definitely not needed) portable A/C unit right inside the door, along with a portable oil……

“Outside doors did not require a room card to enter. No coffee until 7AM, no coffee in the room. Bathtub not handicapped accessible in a handicap room.”

“Nice 1 bedroom apartment in an excellent location. Had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Communication with host Ben was great and quite prompt.”

“Beautiful room and scenery. Host are very nice and reachable. Check in process is smooth and easy.”

“The property, the home and the host were wonderful. The house was just beautiful and had great lake views from the back windows. the lake was just a short walk out the back door. We were a family of 5 and dogs staying and everything was stocked in the kitchen so we could eat our meals there instead of restaurants. The walking paths nearby were great. Checkin and checkout were easy. Love this place!”
