“The room was clean and well stocked with towels, pillows, toiletries and tea and coffee. Beautiful view out to sea. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, beautifully presented.”

For the room we had, there was a very bright security light from the neighbouring property up the hill, and the light shone onto the thin curtains of our room, and when the tree branches moved inbetween it created quite a light show in our room. There was a 2nd security light in the garden right behind which would come on intermittently, it was very bright and lit up the whole room, this……

“The property seems to be family owned and seemed to be run a bit slap dash. The pictures online have had some photo shopping and first impressions were a bit of a letdown. Staff were thin on the ground and some were inexperienced in hospitality. The room was clean and tidy, although we did look in a suite which looked really nice so I would suggest you book one of these if you go. “Nice position above the town and for exploring the local area. Expect to be challenged by the odd hill or two but you are rewarded by fantastic views. The deluxe studio was small and well equipped but not really “deluxe”. If you moderate your expectations this place provides everything you need for a stay in the area.”
