"I highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay after trekking or touring the Maras salt mines, the Sacred Valley, or Machu Picchu. We stayed here after our four-day trek on the Inca Trail. "Overall we had a great stay at this place in Ollantaytambo. It is centrally located in town, about a 10-min walk from the train to Machu Picchu and a 5-min walk from the town center.Great views, comfortable beds, and nice kitchen amenities. However, the street dogs were very audible at night, and it was difficult to sleep even with earplugs."

"The stay was wonderful! The staff are very attentive (both fluent in Spanish and English) and the cabins are clean with ample space and located directly in front of a magical mountain. There is a jacuzzi and sauna on the grounds as well as a laundry facility free of charge with a reservation with the staff. Breakfast, small fee, was delicious and delivered hot to our cabin. The hotel has a great concierge and transportation to and from airport (for a fee) and travel to nearby cities and tours. "

"We stayed here in late October 2026 and I want to share honest feedback that I hope is useful to the host.Cozy and cute place inside, the hosts were very nice and quick to reply. The location is a rather hard to arrive to.The hot water was unreliable for our entire stay. Most days the showers were cold, and on the days when hot water did come through, it was on and off. The bathtub advertised in the listing was not usable; only the showerhead worked, and mostly with cold water. The location felt...

Hotel Lizzy Wasi sits behind a nondescript wall in a skinny alleyway in Urubamba, but once you walk through the door, a whole new world opens up. Gorgeous gardens and the smell of fragrant jasmine await you. Run by US expat Lizzy, Hotel Lizzy Wasi was the perfect place for our family.
Our stay here was a last-minute decision because of a flight delay, and we couldn't have been more pleased. We arrived at 9:30 at night from Cusco, our nerves frazzled from a miserable 24 hours of travel delays...

After reading reviews of Aguas Calientes in general, I was leery of the accommodations available. This was so inaccurate! The town is much better than what I read, and this hotel was the best one yet! (Better than Cuzco, Lima, and Ollantaytambo) The bed was bigger than my king at home. That alone made me smile when I walked in. I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for three nights and loved it. It actually felt like a vacation.

I came to Aguas Calientes alone as a solo female traveler heading up to Machu Picchu, and this place was absolutely perfect in every way. Jaw dropping river views with the rushing water so loud, I was in heaven. I loved my morning coffee on the patio looking at the river. The service was impeccable and the breakfasts hearty - all I could have hoped for.

Del Pilar... AMAZING property surrounded by mountains (some snow-capped)! Although this hotel is about 15-20 minutes outside of Ollantaytambo, it's definitely worth staying outside of town with the great restaurant, super-friendly staff and beautiful, clean rooms. I would highly suggest staying in the 2-bedroom condos, which are really awesome!

Wonderful experience! This hotel is set among the Andes, close to the Sacred Valley, with spectacular grounds that are very well manicured. The hotel lobby has a large, open look, with a fire place in the center, and a hidden bar downstairs with a nice little nook to relax in. The grounds offer hammocks, a fenced-in llama feeding area, planetarium, spa, and more. The rooms have majestic views and are both comfortable and very clean. This hotel is literally steps away from the entrance of Machu Picchu, which means you can easily catch both sunrise and sunset at the site, as well as leave and re-enter. The staff is truly exceptional. Rodolfo and Erving were incredibly helpful, considerate and accommodating. Dinner menu and service very impressive, but the lunch buffet is outstanding in terms of quality, presentation, and selection. Would highly recommend! More than fair value for the cost considering inclusion of meals and...

The hotel location is great, 4-5 minutes walk to the town center, restaurants and the main attractions. The staff was super helpful. The room and amenities are basic, but clean. There are a few steps from the road where the car can park to the hotel entrance, so you have to lift your luggages for a few steps. We had a great time in Ollantaytambo.

This is a great hotel tucked in the upper heart of Ollantaytaytambo. Traditional stone building with communal rooftop terrace that has breathtaking mountain and ruin views. The main woman who runs it makes you feel at home with her warmth and great restaurant recommendations (picolos for the traditional pizza). The room has a nice bathroom, clean comfortable beds, directv and decent WiFi. Definitely worth the price for staying close to macchu picchu train station in an impressive town of its...

This intimate hotel was just the ticket for this town. Beautifully manicured courtyard, free parking and rooms made for families. As of October 2024, the bridge through the center of town is out, but it looks like it will be restored soon. We received excellent customer service from the staff, especially Alex. They took a genuine interest in ensuring our time in the Inka sacred valley was pleasant and that we got the most out of our brief time there.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. We walked in dirty and dusty from 4 days on the Inka trail and they immediately warmly welcomed us with refreshments and comfortable seating as they checked us in from their lobby couches instead of standing at the counter! The food was AMAZING! We had a beautiful balcony outside our room overlooking a park and the river. The service was fantastic. A hotel employee went to the train station to purchase our tickets, they held our luggage the next day while...

The location is fantastic. Only a couple of minutes from the center. The staff was very sweet, we felt like we were staying with family. The room was very clean with incredibly hot water which was great! And finally the view from the rooftop is magical!
