“We didn’t get to stay. The key pad entry was broken and the front window was boarded up. The glass was gone. This was at 7pm on a Friday night for 6 people including kids. We had to find a hotel—2 rooms. This was terribly stressful and expensive. The host made little effort to help us. I am still waiting for my refund. This should include the coverage we bought for damages. I think we should also be compensated for the hotel costs. We stay in a Vrbo b/c it is comfortable and affordable.……

“Our place was the perfect place for our large group to recharge after a few fun days in STL. 7 adults, 5 children. The house was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed being close to town but not too close and in a sweet little neighborhood. The only thing we didn't plan for was there weren't many pans or dishes to cook with. We had to make a trip to the store to get a dish to make a casserole in. Also, no grill.. that was a little surprising but we just changed up our menu a little bit.……

“The host was very helpful communicative with details about checking in and out. Amenities like coffee and paper towels were perfect for our short stay! Location was exactly what we needed for visits to the zoo and Forest park with lots of fun restaurants nearby. We can't recommend Clementine's vegan ice cream enough! It's not the host's responsibility at all and we're used to extra noise with kids, but there are some pretty barky dogs in the building during the day. ”

“Location was perfect, we spent our days walking to Forest Park and trying coffee shops, walked to the metro to catch a Cardinals game.Slept great, and enjoyed the apt for quick meals and resting our feet.”

“Our experience at this property was horrible. The host gave us an incorrect code for one of the units that resulted in wasting over an hour at check in to finally get the correct code. Multiple safety issues that violate VRBOs policies - loose handrail, outlets hanging from walls, exposed wires. Both units smelled of weed (even with explicit check in instructions that no smoking of any kind is allowed at the property). According to the listing linens are provided - but there were only 2 complete……
