“The property seems new and well kept. There are many amenities that enhance the stay including a pool, hot tub, basketball ball court, game room, sauna and steam room. We loved our stay. Only negatives were there was not an ice machine, there was not daily cleaning service, the towels were OK and we needed our trash emptied but were many sure how to request that. Overall a great spot. Affordable and lots of space with great views!”

“Amazing accommodations! We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Everyone had their own room which was ideal. Communication was seamless and easy. Close to Whole Foods and many other shops. Short walk to Red line subway which took us easily and quickly to downtown Chicago and all the attractions. The building had other common spaces like an outdoor terrace with grills, seating and a fire pit. We also took advantage of the fitness center. We would stay here again.”

“It’s a really nice place. Its quite a distance from downtown Chicago. But it’s like 3 minutes from Chicago Blue line and a minute away from the bus station. Food is not a problem since there is a Korean grocery nearby. There is also a nearby Catholic church. The ameneties in this loft hotel is complete so if you are looking for a budget style trip and accommodation, I highly recommend this place.”

“The code that was provided was incorrect. I was so anxious waiting outside the building until I was lucky that other guests were out and helped me get in. I tried reaching the “24/7” line but no response until a while and they had to reset everything before I was able to get in. First and last time I will be staying here. The bed is so small for even one person and the bathroom lights felt like a ghost was there. Do not book here, your anxiety will be through the roof !”

“Overall experience is pretty good. The instructions to access the unit is clear and self explanatory and I can get to the place without much problem. The thing I like most is the location. "This review is for the 2 Queen River View Room. Compared with the 2 Queen Deluxe room, which I had before, the 2 Queen River View Room had a larger bathroom, full-height closet (important for hanging dresses/long garments), luggage rack without asking, 2 bathrobes (instead of 2), 2 facial masks, and a vanity amenities box (cotton balls & swabs, makeup-removing wipes). Beds were good; Wi-Fi worked; room temp adjustable. Lots of storage/drawer space and furniture surfaces. Good bedside charging ports, electric kettle, coffee machine, and fabric steamer. The JBL Bluetooth speaker was superb. The lobby is not huge but functional and comfortable. Krave Station offers coffee drinks and water (but no bottled water). “Mid-day snacks” are advertised, but despite multiple passes (including once at likely snack time), I never encountered any. The restaurant (10% guest discount) served great pancakes—tall and spongy, with a distinctive and delicious syrup made with perilla oil added before caramelization. Service was friendly and knowledgeable; my companion also had excellent personalized service at the bar. Drawbacks: one of the 2 elevators was out of service throughout my stay, causing long waits; no slippers; no bottled water; advertised cozy socks only available upon request; no streaming apps on TV; Chromecast worked after maintenance fixed an unplugged cable; bathroom needs more hooks/towel bars; detachable shower head would be nicer. Al (Alex) at the front desk is wonderful!"
