Kur Cow Farmstay

"My kids loved being around the animals at the property and waking up to the sounds of cows and horses. We would have loved a tour of the property on one of the tractor trailers included in the stay. The cows and horses were super friendly and calm. The shared kitchen wasn’t the cleanest as it’s shared with some of the station hands. The rooms are in a donga type building, with a cute courtyard and tables. Lots of bugs around so make sure you shut the doors or you’ll end up with 1000 bugs in the...

Cedar Park Rainforest Resort

4.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (81)
"We considered cancelling our trip due to having a car accident, called Wotif/the hotel manager to discuss and was verbally abused by the hotel manager then had all money drained from our credit card. Even though we had decided to attend because we paid for the accommodation, we were blocked by the hotel manager who wouldn’t take our calls. Currently dealing with the relevant ombudsman to put forward a formal complaint. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel or booking through Wotif. "

"We stayed 3 nights at this property on a farm. It is set on top of a hill with beautiful views which you can enjoy from a covered deck on which we spent a lot of time relaxing. "We ended up booking last minute when another booking nearby fell through & we are so glad we did. This place is awesome! Nancy is such a great host. The room is beautiful, the garden setting is lovely, the pool was such a treat & we really appreciated all the extra little things that Nancy offered. It is a peaceful little oasis, very comfortable & clean, bed was luxurious. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Breakfast was delicious - thank you Nancy! "

Julatten Platypus Mountain Home

8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (2)
"This house was absolutely perfect for what we needed . Each family had their own living quarters . We felt safe and knew that our boat would be safe when we left the house . The view is amazing from back . I can’t say a bad word . This house was amazing and more . We will be back "
David E.

"Carola's platypus property was beautiful, the rooms were large and the home very spacious. It was great for a large family gathering however, the house needs a lot of small maintenance tended to. Terrible shower heads, sewerage smell in bottom bedroom, gas stove not working properly, Right side of freezer not working, Deep freezer broken, out of 3 tvs only 1 in the main lounge was usable. 1 tv had no remote and the last one you needed a dvd or computer to use it. Sunset Rise @ Jaques Coffee Plantation

"We lived our stay here, photos don’t do this place any justice it’s spectacular, with mountain view’s abundance of wildlife and a wonderful home tastefully furnished with attention to detail, comfortable beds excellent linen and great amenities it’s a home away from home, great for all the kids with games, tvs, books, play eq, gym equipment just everything you can think off and more! And the coffee is some of the best I’ve had fantastic thanks for having us"
Kim A.

"Impressive attention to detail in every corner of this beautiful home. We loved our stay nesled amongst the coffee plantation. The house itself is so large that everyone had their own space and the kids loved the outdoor play equipment. It was great to be able to go for a short walk to Jaques cafe where we enjoyed a delicious brunch. Would love to stay again one day."

"Steep drive with amazing views to the property. Lots of native wildlife. House was extremely well kept with good facilities available"
Robert D.

"Having lived in this area a few years ago, it was amazing to be back amongst nature and the peace and serenity of Honeybee House. It sits within a beautiful environment, is near to the National Park for rainforest walks and if you want to see other people, it is near to Kuranda where there are shops, cafes and a supermarket."

Piyar Tiny Haven by Tiny Away

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"We absolutely enjoyed staying at the Tiny House. It was not only clean and spacious but also in beautiful surroundings. Keshni was not only very friendly and quick in her communication but also super supportive with tips on things to do in the area. The only area of improvement could be that it would be nice to have some salt, oil and coffee available in the accommodation as otherwise every guest needs to buy it themselves and dispose of it afterwards, which is not very sustainable in my POV.
