“Several of us have stayed in Luling for over three years as we search for Missing Person Jason Landry. The staff at Best Western are always kind and accomodating. We love the facilities as well. Getting two free drinks and chips and salsa are a nice bonus each evening.”

“The shower head was disgusting. Hadn’t been cleaned in years. It was covered in green gunk. There were used wash cloths hanging on the rusty shower curtain pole. The walls were covered re thin and all we could hear was crying and screaming children. There were blackout curtains but the lights on the building were so bright that when I woke up in the middle of the night I thought it was morning. ”

“The room was new and clean, however the bed was awful. The amenities, other than a nice pool, were just not there. The property itself could use a refresh. But, the view was wonderful, and the hiking trails were great. ”

“Check in was a little below average and the beds were very uncomfortable maybe slept for 2 hours. We’ve stayed at several Comfort inns and this one had bad beds. ”

“What a gem this place is! I have now booked here twice, once for girls weekend and now for family weekend with 2 littles. Town is about a 20-30 drive but it doesn't feel like it at all and there are so many activities to do in New Braunfels, Seguin and Gruene. From splash pads, river tubing, parks, restaurants, hiking trails, antique/boutique shops, etc. there is so much to do. I highly recommend Hideout at the Horseshoe for a getaway- its magical!”
