"Really interesting layout, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, good heating system. There was some activity outside at night since this is a downtown location, but it was all within reason. Walkable to many destinations in Eureka and to the water. Would stay here again"

"We love this place, totally private and secret. John is the perfect host. The couple minutes it takes from town to the SBR… is amazing all by itself. The small secret beach was a bit slippery and muddy close to the bottom but we made it down. The deck is unbelievable and the room was really clean and nice. I would stay again."

"Location was good for us. Home was well furnished and in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen appliances are upscale and well stocked. And beds were comfortable. All the furniture was comfortable. Spa was very relaxing and water pressure in showers was good. Walking distance to trails and located close to national and state parks."

We did some hiking each morning, we’d stop for lunch, head back to the property, soak in the hot tub and then make dinner in this awesome kitchen. Place was super clean and kept in top shape."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. I was amazed how close it was to town & how the cabin was stocked with literally everything we needed from bathroom supplies to kitchen supplies. Someone could literally live there. I am happy we got in before prices go up for the busy season but I will definitely want to stay there again!! "This historic home has been updated in the most careful, respectful, & clever way. While millwork & wood floors have been restored to retain the home’s original charm, new counters, cabinets, shower surround, kitchen appliances, and kitchen & bath backsplash have updated the look and functionality of the home. The home is in an ideal location for enjoying Eureka and, for me, visiting family in the area. The alley-access garage for parking my car was a lovely bonus. The gardener who came to mow...

"Great location. The cabin is next to some other cabins, not sure if they’re rentals, or other people who live on the property. So it wasn’t quite as private as I was anticipating. But over all it was a great place to stay for a few days. It might be a little tricky to find if you arrive after dark."
